Disappointed

A few hammer taps later, he lets me know he's finished.
I ask "How much will this be?".
"I haven't done much, anything would do."

I take out a single rupee coin from my wallet. After all he hasn't done much, few taps and thats all. And he was probably ashamed to ask for more. Or so I felt.

One rupee coin in his hand, he gives me this WTF look and tells me to be more generous. I take out another two rupees coin, hand it over to him expecting the rupee coin back and no, its all gone.

And my bicycle is still unfixed, gives the cranking noise and I don't feel comfortable having this guy fix it any more. I shouldn't be taking help from amateurs, I've mostly had bitter experiences. Professionals are much better and worth more expenses. "You the dark strange toned amateur wanna-be bicycle fixer on the street! You will never have me again as your customer"

What do you expect for a rupee, you get what you pay for. What do you expect for a rupee anyway. Be reasonable 'even a tiny bit would do'.
